How Many Times Will You Pay to Start Over?
Another evaluation. Another reset. Another promise that this account will be different.

The purchase takes a few minutes. You get a fresh balance, a new target, and the relief of feeling like you are moving forward again.
But what changed in your trading between the account you lost and the one you just bought?
If the answer is nothing specific, that deserves your attention before the next order.
A new account resets the numbers. Your habits come with you.
For the trader spending thousands of dollars a month on evaluations, resets, and repeated attempts to get funded, that distinction becomes expensive.
Add Up What Starting Over Is Costing You
Pull up your purchases from the last 90 days.
Include every evaluation. Every reset. Every activation fee. Every additional account you bought because the promotion looked too good to pass up.
Then look at what you have to show for that spending.
Have your decisions improved? Are you following a defined risk plan? Can you explain why you lost each account and point to a correction you actually implemented?
Or have you become very familiar with the checkout page?

Hypothetical examples assuming the same spending each month. Your own transaction history will give you the number that matters.
A discounted evaluation can look inexpensive on its own. Repeated purchases deserve to be evaluated together.
And if the same behavior keeps ending each attempt, buying another account leaves the underlying problem untouched.
You Can Pass an Evaluation and Still Have Unfinished Work
Reaching a profit target is an accomplishment. It does not answer every question about how you got there.
Did you follow a repeatable process?
Was your position size appropriate throughout the attempt?
Did you stay within your rules, or did one oversized trade rescue the account?
Could you accept a normal loss without turning the rest of the session into a recovery mission?
These questions matter because the decisions that produce a short run of profits may not support sustained trading.
You can reach a target while reinforcing behavior that later costs you the account.
If breaking a rule helped you pass, it becomes easier to defend that same decision next time.
The account says you passed. Your execution still needs an honest review.
The Next Payout Cannot Be Your Entire Plan
You may know this conversation:
“One payout and I will be ahead.”
“One good week and I will make back everything I spent.”
“Once I get funded, I will take risk seriously.”
The problem is what happens when those expectations enter the trading session.
A normal loss now feels like another delay. A quiet morning feels like a missed payment. A trade that does not meet your criteria starts looking acceptable because you need something to happen.
Your purchase history begins influencing your position size.
You are asking the next trade to repair decisions made weeks ago.
That pressure needs to be recognized before it becomes another reason to override your rules.
Repetition Needs a Review Process
Taking more trades gives you more experience. Whether that experience improves your execution depends on what you do with it.
If you lose an account, feel angry, purchase another, and return to the same routine, where does the correction happen?
Writing “stop overtrading” in your journal is a starting observation. It leaves important questions unanswered.
- What triggered the extra trades?
- What did you tell yourself before entering?
- Which rule should have ended the session?
- What will make that boundary enforceable next time?
You need an answer specific enough to use while the pressure is present.
For example, if you repeatedly increase size after losing, the next step might include a fixed position limit, a defined session loss limit, and a review of every attempt to override either one.
The rule must fit your circumstances and the account requirements. The point is to replace a vague intention with a decision you can evaluate.
Before you buy another attempt, be able to explain what you will do differently and how you will verify it.
This Is the Work I Take Seriously
At Elite Traders Inc., private trader development begins with the person making the decisions.
Your experience. Your execution. Your recurring mistakes. Your ability to follow a plan when the last trade did not go your way.
After more than 20 years in the markets, I know that telling a trader to “be disciplined” leaves too much unexplained.
I want to see where the decision changed.
Did you enter before your criteria were met? Did you increase size because the target felt far away? Did you keep trading after your reasoning became focused on getting back to even?
Those details shape the personalized development blueprint.
We need to identify what requires attention, establish a clear priority, and review the work against that standard.
A trader who needs help understanding price requires different guidance from a trader who reads price well but repeatedly abandons risk limits.
Your coaching should recognize that difference.
What Are You Actually Investing In?
An evaluation gives you an opportunity under a firm’s rules.
Private coaching gives you a different kind of service: personal attention to how you prepare, execute, manage risk, and review your decisions.
Both purchases deserve scrutiny.
Do not assume another evaluation will fix a recurring execution problem. Do not assume paying a mentor guarantees profitability.
Look at the work involved.
Does the coaching address your actual trading? Will you bring complete records, including the trades you would rather leave out? Are you willing to practice the corrections between conversations?
Paying for guidance is the beginning of a commitment. Improvement still requires your participation.
That is the standard I bring to working with traders, and the standard I expect them to bring to the relationship.

If the same explanation appears in all three, you have identified something more useful than the next discount code.
You have identified work that remains unfinished.
