Before You Buy Another Trading Evaluation, Review What Happened to the Last One.

Your next account deserves a better process. Start by identifying the decisions that need to change.

Before you pay for another account, open the trade history from the one you just lost.

Find the first trade where you departed from your plan.

Maybe you increased your position size after a loss. Maybe you entered before confirmation because you were afraid of missing the move. Maybe you were profitable, decided the day was not good enough, and gave it back trying to reach a number.

Now ask yourself:

What will be different when the next account opens?

A fresh balance gives you another opportunity. It does not change how you make decisions under pressure.

If the same behavior has followed you through several accounts, it deserves your attention before you purchase another one.

Put a number on the cycle.

Look at what you have spent over the last 90 days.

Evaluation fees. Resets. Subscriptions. Courses you never finished. Tools you bought hoping they would make your decisions easier.

Then look at what you can demonstrate today.

  • Can you explain your entry criteria before the move happens?
  • Can you identify the price that invalidates your trade?
  • Can you calculate your exposure before placing the order?
  • Can you take a planned loss without changing your approach on the next trade?

These are practical skills. They need to be developed, practiced, and reviewed.

Passing an evaluation does not automatically establish that you have them. Neither does one profitable week.

There is a difference between seeing a trade and understanding the decision.

A completed chart makes trading look straightforward.

The level held. Price displaced. The market expanded toward the next objective.

Live trading is less comfortable.

The candle is still forming. Price is approaching your entry. There is conflicting movement on a lower timeframe. You have already taken a loss, and now you have to decide whether this opportunity meets your criteria.

That is where your preparation becomes a decision.

When you study a live session, you should be learning more than where someone entered. You should understand:

  • What conditions made the trade worth considering.
  • What confirmation was required before committing capital.
  • Where the idea would become invalid.
  • How position size related to the planned loss.
  • What justified holding, reducing, or closing the position.
  • Why other apparent opportunities were passed over.

The reasoning behind the execution is what you need to carry into your own trading.

This is the work we focus on at Elite Traders Inc.

I’m Christopher Hunt. I have spent more than 20 years trading, and my work with traders is centered on helping them develop a process they can understand and evaluate.

Through live market preparation, commentary, execution, and review, I explain what I am watching and how I am responding as conditions develop.

That includes the less exciting decisions.

Waiting when price is in a poor location. Passing on a move when the entry has already gone. Accepting that a valid idea can lose. Recognizing when another trade would come from frustration instead of your plan.

Those decisions deserve as much attention as the winning trades.

My goal is for you to become more capable of making and explaining your own decisions. Watching someone else execute should support that development.

Choose the level of support you actually need.

Come prepared. Compare your analysis with what unfolds. Ask questions about the reasoning. Review the decisions afterward.

For traders who need individual attention, private trader development provides a separate path to work on the specific weaknesses affecting their performance.

The appropriate starting point depends on where you are struggling. A trader who cannot define a setup needs different work from a trader who understands the setup but repeatedly exceeds planned risk.

Make your next investment address a specific problem.

You do not need to convince yourself that the next account will be different.

You need to identify what must change and put a process around changing it.

Education cannot guarantee profitability. Your participation, practice, and decisions still matter. But repeatedly paying for another attempt without reviewing the previous one leaves the underlying problem unresolved.

If you are prepared to study your decisions as seriously as you study the chart, I invite you to work with me.
